Here is an interesting new revenue stream for bloggers/information marketers.

Here is how you make money…

1. Create a video tutorial.
2. Upload the video to Revver.
3. Revver attaches an ad to the end of the video — and hosts the video for FREE on their servers.
4. You email your list promoting the link to your new video tutorial.
5. For every person that clicks on the ad at the end of the video: you get paid!
6. If your readers or subscribers point to the video — they get an affiliate commission.

How much do you make?

Most of us, use the testimonials of satisfied customers, in our sales letters. And a few (like Matt Furey) are masters at creating buzz using their existing customer base. However, few of us have evangelists…

Those absolutely rabid customers that go on and on, about how awesome your products are. The 0.1% that think your shit doesn’t stink.

A couple weeks ago I told you about “The Star Wars Kid” a prank that went viral. Well, it seems that the razzing that Ghyslain took was too much — and so his parents are going to sue.

The parents of Ghyslain Raza, the Quebec teenager who became a celebrity this spring after classmates posted on the Internet a video of him mimicking a Star Wars character, allege that their son was so humiliated by the experience that he had to get psychiatric care.

This morning I ran across a post on the Warrior Forums that had me chuckling and wanting to share an important story on BUZZ.

Here we go…

On November 2, 2002 a chubby, bespectacled, 15 year-old boy from Quebec, Canada named Ghyslain turned on his high-school’s 8mm video recorder on and begin to do what EVERY 15 year-old boy does — fantasize!

Viral ebooks are going to be the next big thing in Internet marketing — and in about 6 months that is all you are going to be hearing about.

It appears that Yanik Silver and Jim Edwards have created a new service called Viral Ebook Creator.

What this service does, is takes a publisher’s article and inserts YOUR affiliate id into the article. Then it compiles the modified article into an Adobe PDF ebook, for you to distribute.

Creating Buzz

A recent survey told me that many of you are looking for ways to create buzz for your blogs. Although I do talk about it in my book, it is a very broad subject. What works in one industry and for one product will not work in another.

I have been analyzing and researching the specifics of blogging. What causes a blog entry to pull in traffic like a magnet? Which bloggers seem to be a hub of activity and why? These are the types of questions that swirl in my head as I read the thoughts of others.

The Power of Cult Branding

BJ Bueno was asked to speak at Harvard University, and it wasn’t just faculty and students that turned out to listen. So did the executives of many Fortune 500 companies.

Bueno’s bestselling book: “The Power of Cult Branding” has the business community’s ear. It cuts to the bone. And lays out seven simple rules to follow:

Viral Blog Posts… Very Smart!

I was doing some research and noticed something over at ScrappleFace.com that I thought was pretty awesome.

Blogger Scott Ott has added a link at the bottom of each post labelled “Email Story”. Which is a very ingenious viral marketing tactic to increase traffic!

How Buzz Is Created — Naturally…

Creating buzz is not an art — it is a science. Here is an article explaining how buzz is created *naturally*.

Now can buzz be created on purpose (ie. artificially)? You bet. And it is not difficult to manipulate the process. In fact, buzz has been created by many artists and personalities.
