Instead of hiring a moving company, I made the mistake of hiring two day laborers that were standing out front of the local gas station mini-mart.

Their packing was less than adequate — and you can click here to see how their incompetence is now YOUR advantage…

I have finally arrived in Canada and traveled the 2263 miles in just 42 hours. I narrowly avoided a nasty ice storm that smashed into Missouri, Iowa and Illinois.

This week I will be slowly ramping things back up to normal and getting a lot of administrative tasks done.

Yes, I will be blogging and getting a newsletter out. :)

Blogging, newsletters and work over the next two weeks is going to be limited. I am driving to Canada next Monday (Nov 27th) and taking much of my personal belongings with me.

Tell you more next week! ;)

As many of you know, I am moving back to the West Coast and this little piece of news makes me happy as a pig in shit.  For years the whole damn housing market has been over-priced due to speculation and loans being given to people that could NOT afford them (ie. Interest-only)…

Aloha Readers,

I need to take an extended break.

I am NOT finished blogging. I am just able to work on fewer things right now as I deal with the final death-throws of my divorce.

I am spending extra time with my daughter, because I feel she is needing that. I am sure you all understand.

Talk to you soon.

I am headed out of town in a couple hours to spend the weekend with my daughter Sarah. So no blogging or emails. I have too much swimming, running, jumping, skipping, swinging and hide-and-seek to do! :)

Have a good weekend!

Well he is in the Coast Guard now — and stationed in Sabeen, Texas. A small town of a few hundred people. And it is where Rita will make landfall in a couple hours.

Yesterday, Jim Edwards was in the hospital with a heart problem (seems that Tony Blake was too for the same thing — on the SAME day!). You might want to leave him some thoughts on his blog.

I invited him to Hooters with Brad Fallon and I… :)

Scumbags are as thick as flies…

One shithead is selling t-shirts online that say:

“I was rescued from New Orleans — and all I have left is this F#CKING T-shirt!”

What kind of crap is that?
