GoldBlogging

Wallstrip is a relatively new company that is making waves in the financial news sector. As The New York Times says: “It’s Squawk Box meets Saturday Night Live.”

I think that description is dead on.

I wasn’t surprised — but I was disappointed to hear that BitPass is going out of business.

Why wasn’t I surprised?

Because I think BitPass made a couple of key errors in their business.

1. Their customer service sucked: On one occasion while attempting to resolve a payment problem with their accountant, she hung up on me! Talk about a major fuck up.

There is a new way for bloggers to make cash reviewing services and websites for advertisers.

I am sure this is going to cause a stir in the blogosphere, just as PayPerPost has.

Jason Calacanis has just earned his blog police badge with this whiny post…

The currency of blogging is authenticity and trust… you pay folks to blog about a product and you compromise that. I would almost care about this, but it’s so obvious to everyone that this is either a joke or an idiot that there is nothing more to say.

Funny. Jason’s memory isn’t very long. When he created Weblogs Inc. a number of the anti-capitalists within the blogging community raised an uproar. The anti-capitalists think that blogging and money should be kept separate like church in state.

The function of propaganda is to attract supporters, the function of organization is to win members. — Adolf Hitler

Hitler was both genius and lunatic.

In fact, I have been researching and compiling some of his ideas on mass influence for my latest course called:

“Internet Propaganda: How to Create Cults and Influence The Masses”

It seems that the Tennessee bombshell (aka: Lynn Terry) has crossed the line and begun creating far-fetched stories in order to make a buck. She has sold out — and by her own admission has been “doing it for years“.

PayPerPost is a cool little service that hooks advertisers up with bloggers… All you have to do is post ads on your blogs, which are not as obtrusive and offensive as it might sound. Most of them are actually pretty cool – and you will likely find ‘ads’ that relate to your niche or topic.

I stumbled on this over at Brad Fallon’s blog…

PayPerPost is a site where advertisers and bloggers can get together and help each other get paid. Advertisers set the price they will pay per post, and the topic and requirements. Bloggers can log on and find the topics that interest them, write a post that meets the requirements and get paid. Easy as pie.

Good idea.

Here is the perfect use of a blog by a marketer!

As I outline in my course on how to make money blogging one of the four surefire themes for a blog is LOVE!

And Dave M. of Insider Internet Dating has just learned how powerful a blog can be at “educating” and creating a rabid cult of customers and readers.

I just released the following email to my subscribers. Now that they have read it, I can share it with you…

Podcasting Can Make You Buckets Of Money!

Aloha Jason,

I have some unfinished business.

During the Mark Joyner interview I was unable to share with you any of the revenue streams that I weave into a blog. We just ran out of time.

Michel Fortin asks the question…

I love WordPress. Thing is, I need a subscription-based process, where people can subscribe (for example, using PayPal or PayDotCom), and gain access to the site. I’ve looked high and low for a WordPress plugin that would do this. Surely, it must be available or easy to do.

He should have asked me. He should have emailed me.
