Are you paying attention?
I doubt you are.
His blog entry was carefully crafted. It was designed to create a frenzy. Once blood is in the water, the biting starts.
One comment usually turns into one hundred, and that was the case when John Reese started his new blog.

I received an email the other day from John Reese. I am sure you did too.
John informed subscribers of his new blog and shared a free gift. The gift was a training video called “Reboot Your Brain!: How to Quickly & Easily Start Getting Anything You Want And INSTANTLY Experience A Higher Level Of Thinking!”
It was a great video. One that you will want to share with your friends and subscribers.

I have been watching with glee as the businesses of hundreds of “Internet marketers” (in quotes for a reason) have gone down the tubes.
You know who I am talking about don’t you?
The idiots with spammy blogs, that made 100% of their income in Adsense revenue. Most (if not all) have seen their businesses collapse like a house of cards.
What were they thinking?

Not only did I enjoy watching this video, I also was impressed with the way that Brad Fallon and Andy used it to market their new product/service.
The video is naturally viral. You can’t help but pass it on to your friends, your list and your readers. Sort of like I am doing now!
I am telling you and giving them an inbound link — and I am not even an affiliate!

The fact that the boys on Madison Avenue do not get this, shows how mentally lazy and conceited they are.”
Ok, I lied.

The other day was somewhat of a email marketing disaster.
Remember the subject line of yesterday’s email?
“Spank Me! Bite Me! Pull My Hair!”
Well AOL was NOT pleased. =)
It seems that scores of people read that subject line and hit the “This is SPAM button” without noting who sent it. They automatically assumed it was sex or porkography.
Even marketing hottie Lynn Terry came close to deleting me!

Did you watch the Academy Awards on Sunday?
I did!
I was curious to see if Brokeback Mountain was going to take the award for Best Picture.
It didn’t win the award for best picture but it sure has been profitable! In fact, many Hollywood moguls say we should expect more movies like Brokeback Mountain, because they are easier and cheaper to produce — and offer the studios a far greater return on investment.
“Brokeback Mountain” was produced at a cost of 14 million dollars and has earned $127 million to date. A whopping return on investment of 9 times!
