Affiliate Marketing

I saw Alice Seba’s point out four ways to make more money with affiliate programs. I do agree with this point she made…

- Don’t give too many choices. If you’re creating “how to” materials, you might want to recommend certain products for the job. For example, if you’re talking about how to set up an autoresponder, you’re more likely to sell more by just telling your reader which autoresponder to sign up with than if you give them choices.

I am red hot with anger right now.

Last week someone bought the GoldBlogging System from me — and I noticed it was a sale from an affiliate that I did not recognize.

Even though I use ClickBank, I have not set up an affiliate program — and here is why:

RSS feeds are a way to add content to your site easily. This frees you up to concentrate on other things.

RSS feeds can also earn you money if someone enterprising thinks about it.

Chris Pirillo the genius behind LockerGnome and GnomeTomes recently developed RSS feeds for Amazon products. For a small fee, he would brand the RSS feeds with YOUR affiliate link.

They have begun charging an additional 5% fee, that is taken out of OUR commission checks. But wait! Here is the biggy…

They are claiming that they own the rights to all images that YOU develop and that they sell!
